Custom Rigid Gift Boxes

Greyboard wrapped in printed paper, assembled in our factory, with foil and fitted inserts to order. The box people keep. From 100 pieces.

How to choose a gift box: three questions first

What goes in, and does it need holding still? One bottle or a set of six decides the insert before the box. How is it opened and carried? A magnetic lid gives a slow reveal, a lid-and-base shows everything at once, a drawer has that slide-out moment, and a paper bag finishes it if it leaves a shop by hand. How many, and by when? Rigid boxes start at 100 pieces and take longer than cartons, so a festive run is best started two to three months ahead. Answer those three and we can usually suggest the structure in one reply; send us the product and we will size the insert from it.

Rigid box or folding carton

A rigid box does not fold. Greyboard wrapped in printed paper — machine-fed, hand-finished — and delivered assembled: that is where the weight in the hand comes from, and why it costs several times a folding carton. For a gift, the box is part of the gift.

Six structures

Magnetic: a book-style lid that shuts with a click, the most requested. Lid and base: the classic for food gifts and beauty sets. Shoulder box: lid and base with an inner neck, so the lid sits flush and opens in layers. Window gift box: the shoulder box with a clear window in the lid. Drawer: slides open, with an optional ribbon pull. Sleeve: a tray in a sleeve, compact, for small luxury items.

Wrap paper, foil and inserts

The wrap paper is the design surface: matte as standard, textured and specialty papers on request. Foil or embossing on the lid. Inside, a die-cut insert holds each item in place — send us the real product and we work it out from that.

Seasonal timing

Rigid boxes take longer than cartons, and the festive seasons stack up. For Mid-Autumn and Lunar New Year, order two to three months ahead: sampling, paper stock and assembly all compete for the same weeks.

Minimums and timing

From 100 pieces. Production is 12–14 days, longer with inserts or specialty paper; Hong Kong delivery is included. A white sample takes 3–7 days if you want to hold the structure first.

COMMON QUESTIONS / 03

Questions we get asked a lot

You can still change production options before the order is placed. Unusual sizes, inserts and complex finishing come to us.

What is the minimum order for custom gift boxes?

Rigid gift boxes start at 100 pieces. Enter the inner size and quantity on any product page in this category and the reference unit price shows straight away; the unit price comes down as the quantity goes up.

Rigid box or folding carton for a gift set?

A rigid box arrives assembled, feels solid in the hand and costs several times a carton, so it suits premium sets and gifts people keep. If the budget is tighter or the boxes ship flat, a lid-and-base or drawer folding carton in printed cardboard gives a gift-box feel at carton cost.

Can a gift box have an insert, foil stamping or a ribbon?

Yes. A die-cut insert in EVA, foam or paper holds each item in place, and we size it from your actual product if you send it to us. The lid takes foil in gold or silver, and embossing where the paper allows. A ribbon pull is an option on the drawer box.

When should a Mid-Autumn, Christmas or Lunar New Year gift box be ordered?

Two to three months before the season. Sampling, wrap paper stock and assembly all compete for the same weeks, and a white sample takes 3 to 7 days if you want to hold the structure first. Starting early leaves room for one round of changes without rushing.
