A folding carton is one sheet of cardboard, glued along a single seam: it arrives flat and pops into shape. A rigid box is greyboard wrapped in printed paper — solid, assembled at the factory, several times the price. Cartons are for products sold by the hundred; rigid boxes are for gifts.
Auto-lock bottom for anything with weight. Tuck end for light retail items. Drawer and sleeve boxes when opening should feel like a reveal. Lid and base to show the whole product at once. Window box for the shelf. Egg tart box for bakeries. And for handing out stick-pack samples you may not need a box at all: see the Stick Pack Sample Folder under Stickers & Labels.
White cardboard, 350gsm or 400gsm for extra stiffness, is the default and prints cleanly. Kraft gives a natural brown finish and suits one-colour print. Grey-back board is the economy choice where the inside is not seen.
CMYK outside as standard, inside print where the customer opens the box. Foil, embossing and spot UV are available on most structures, and a clear PET window on the window box. Each is priced on the product page.
From 100 pieces. Production is 10–12 days after artwork approval, plus 1–2 working days for Hong Kong delivery, included in the price.
