CASE STUDIES / 01-06

Good packaging gets the product seen first.

Not just pretty boxes. Each case breaks down how the packaging built recognition, made the product's value obvious, and turned the unboxing into something customers talked about.

    VALUE PATH / 01

    Design that catches the eye

Recognition starts at first glance. A distinctive shape, the right colours and a touch of foil or embossing get the product noticed on a crowded shelf.

    Tell the brand story

Make the positioning clear. The feel of the paper and the layout carry the impression you want, so customers understand what the product stands for.

    Get taken home

Packaging does not have to be the most expensive. It has to feel worth it. When the perceived value meets or beats expectation, the hesitation goes.

    A surprise unboxing

The sale is where loyalty starts, not where it ends. A layered unboxing is worth remembering, and worth posting.

Chung Wah Kee: noodles packaged as a gift

A 1979 noodle factory, packaged as a gift: a red lid-and-base box with a divided insert and a milk-carton style handle box.

THE CHALLENGE

Raw noodles are cheap, fragile and shapeless. To be given as a gift they had to look like a Hong Kong keepsake without losing the honest image of a 1979 noodle factory.

THE STRATEGY

A Pantone red rigid box with foil logo and divided insert for gifting, a milk-carton handle box for the counter, and one visual system across both.
