As a designer, you don't have to know how to draw a mould, but you have to understand what the lines on the mould mean, otherwise it's easy to set it wrong or opposite.

Although three-dimensional packaging design is good, but if you are still unsure of what structure will be formed, it is recommended to print the mould diagrams in miniature and actually fold them to see it clear. This step should not be ignored especially for the complex structure .

 


01. Lid Base Rigid Box


12 sides of the box can be designed, including the top, sides, bottom, lid inside and outside of the box.

Please pay attention to the position where the box is folded in: these places are not visible after folding, so please avoid placing important design elements here.

02. Drawer Style Rigid Box


11 sides of the box can be designed, including the top, sides, bottom, lid inside and outside of the box.
